Centralising crisis coordination and emergency preparedness to assure business continuity
The GCC especially UAE has been at the forefront in enhancing security management, emergency response and crisis management. The idea in enhancing resilience of crisis management systems is to evolve with the threat landscape, whether the physical or virtual and then build subsequent plans to enhance preparedness. While managing crises and emergencies, organisations need to have the right business contingency planning backed with a robust and comprehensive joint coordination with various stakeholders both at local as well as federal level to protect lives and property.
We are pleased to announce that this year, International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) along with International Quality & Productivity Centre (IQPC), will host the Emergency Management & Business Contingency Summit from 5-6 October, 2016 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The event will present attendees information needed to meet the new challenges that lay ahead and an opportunity to network with their peers participating at all levels. The summit features a panel of experts presenting a variety of topics from national security, critical infrastructure protection, emergency response, enterprise risk management, fire safety as well as civil defence contingency planning.
Develop an integrated emergency management programme by involving all stakeholders right from the planning stage to successful execution
Upgrade fire prevention capabilities by incorporating a practical and reliable emergency response system to maximise protection regimes and deploy a quick incident response
Put yourself in the shoes of an emergency manager and get trained by international experts on the roadmap from planning, response, recovery, remediation and mitigation
Use risk mitigation techniques in the overall business contingency planning to strategically manage Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) incidents and at the same time also strengthen the security apparatus for critical infrastructure
